Five Players from Ducks Named to World Cup of Hockey 2016 Rosters
The Ducks today had five players named to rosters for the World Cup of
Hockey 2016. Among the announcements made today by participating
countries, Anaheim Ducks center
Ryan Getzlaf was named to Team Canada; center
Ryan Kesler was named to Team USA; goaltender
John Gibson was named to Team North America; defenseman
Sami Vatanen was named to Team Finland; and goaltender
Frederik Andersen
was named to Team Europe. The best-on-best international hockey
tournament will be held in Toronto, Canada from Sept. 17-Oct. 1, 2016.
