They See Me Rollin' - Porsche 993 Edition

Holy mother of #$%& – a genuine and pristine RUF CTR2, otherwise known as a unicorn when it comes to 993-based creations.

Look at that rear end with the integrated spoiler where its mid-section doubles up as an air intake to feed the two intercoolers that are housed behind the rear arches. Look at that vented rear bumper. And the iconic wheels. And look the faultless black paint. I’m truly thankful to the owner for giving me the OK to grab a few photos of it.

Of course, I had to take a look at the RUF-tuned Turbo motor that boasts 520hp. This is a car that could accelerate from 0-60mph in 3.6-seconds and had a top speed of 217mph – 22 years ago. Think about that for a moment… These are numbers you associate with modern day supercars.

Andrew Zimmern Finds Yelp ‘Useless’

The TV host makes a strong argument against the review site
I think Yelp is neither good nor bad for the food industry. I find it useless. If you're aggregating a lack of expertise, then when I plug in “best sushi bar in Los Angeles,” Yelp doesn't help me at all. So, if you are a huge food geek like me that really believes in quality — not expensive food, just quality. Above all other things — quality. If you're into quality, Yelp is not for you.

Former Shelby employees plan continuation 1965 Shelby GT350R

Three former Shelby American employees who worked on the 1965 Shelby GT350R plan to build officially licensed continuation version of the iconic sports racing car, with a few upgrades, Carscoops reports.

The project is being overseen by the Original Venice Crew, made up of former Shelby America employees Peter Brock, Jim Marietta and Ted Sutton.

The trio say they plan to produce 36 units starting this fall. They'll be based on the standard 4.7-liter, 289 cubic-inch V8 engine sourced from the Carroll Shelby Engine Co. and a four-speed transmission, plus fully reconditioned bodies. But they'll include experimental upgrades designed by Brock but left out of the original production models due to time constraints.

Those include a new front valance, Plexiglas rear windows and three-quarter windows, and an independent rear suspension designed by Ford.

Starting price is set at a cool $250,000.
