Rolls' 2016 Fiscal Numbers Are Now In Great Shape

Chinese Tycoon Places Order For 30 Rolls Royce Phantoms

A Hong Kong tycoon has placed the biggest ever order for Rolls-Royce cars, agreeing to buy 30 Phantoms to chauffeur guests at a luxury resort he is building in Macau.

Stephen Hung's $20m (£12m) purchase surpasses the 14 Phantoms bought by Hong Kong's Peninsula hotel in 2006.

Hung signed the deal with Rolls-Royce executives on Tuesday at the company's Goodwood factory in England.

What Could Have Been

Fast wagons aren't a thing in the US, but the touring body style is a hit in Europe. And while every enthusiast loves a high-performance wagon, automakers apparently like the body style as well. The 2000 M3 Touring was built to serve in-house purposes. Essentially, BMW built the vehicle to prove that it could be done with little difficulty. We have a feeling that an E46 M3 Touring would have done extremely well.

Their Pricing Is Insane

R34 GT-R Prices Are Officially Out Of Control

¥17,340,000, or the equivalent of approximately US$170,000. It might be more than double what a BNR34 Skyline GT-R V-spec II Nür sold for new back in 2002, but it’s how much was being asked for this car in the ‘For Sale’ section of the recent R’s Meeting at Fuji Speedway.

Fourteen years and 100 per cent growth; if you’re an investment banker you will probably shrug at a return like that, but for a car it’s not bad at all. Actually, for a model that’s not even an ultra-rare or extremely expensive exotic, it’s impressively good. Mind you, the Nissan in question only has a smidgeon over 4,000km on its odometer, so you’d be lucky to find one better or closer to brand new condition.

That said though, even the ‘normal’ (non-Nür) V-spec IIs are experiencing a constant rise in value and showing no sign of stopping either, which makes me wonder: What will happen to these prices once the first 1999 R34 GT-R models hit that magic 25-year-old mark and can be legally imported into the US?

It's PDK Equipped, But Still A Bad Piece Of Machinery

2016 Porsche 911 GT3 R – offering a lot more than just the normal GT3

The 2016 Porsche 911 GT3 R is the more powerful version of the lightweight version of the 911 which is a bit odd but true.
The car has been released back at the Geneva Auto Show and it is a complete package, offering a lot more than just the normal GT3 model. It comes with a new engine, different running gear, more aerodynamic accessories as well as a slightly different interior.

2016 Porsche 911 GT3 R Price

As you would think from a German manufacturer, all these changes don’t come cheap. In fact, the new GT3 R is almost $40,000 more than the base GT3 which is a massive bump, coming on the market for nearly $178,000, one of the most expensive 911s out there.

Just as we said, its chassis and running gear have been tweaked in order to offer the best possible driving experience. The suspension is fully adjustable by the end user which can tweak things such as the camber, the rebound rate and even the strength of the anti-roll bars.

The wheels come with the widest tires ever fitted to any 911 and they are fitted to center-locking wheels in order to allow for quick and easy change on the racing circuit. The brakes are also a lot more impressive than the usual with carbon-ceramic disk brakes and 6 piston calipers in the front.
