If You Haven't Tried These Dishes, You Need To

10 Must-Try Mexican Dishes for Cinco de Mayo Besides Tacos and Burritos

Pozole
  • I can see the pochos rolling their eyes right now—pozole?! Everyone knows what that is! Actually, no: gabachos are far more familiar with menudo than Mexico's legendary pork stew, mostly because most OC Mexican restaurants only sell pozole on weekends, and really don't do it right

And You Thought The 200K E30 M3 Was Stupidly Priced

You Can Own This Mercedes 190 2.5-16V Evolution II For The Low, Low Price Of $279,000

Just when you thought the early ‘90s German sport-sedan market peaked with E30 M3s commanding upwards of $200,000, the M3's arch rival, the Mercedes 190-Series 2.5-16V Evolution II, is up for sale with a price tag that trumps a brand new Ferrari.

Like the E30 M3, the 190-Series 2.5-16V Evolution II was built because Mercedes wanted a production based race car to compete on the DTM circuit. Homologation rules dictated that at least 500 road going examples be produced. According to the listing, this car is number 345 out of 500.

What the Heck Makes Flying So Expensive?

Watch the video by Wendover Productions breaking down the cost of flying. It’s a lot of little dollars here and there that adds up rather quickly.

Worth It

The 28 Most Ridiculously Expensive Foods In The World

Japanese Wagyu Beef – $1,300/16-oz steak
  • Wagyu beef has become the premier choice in steak and remains the best in the world with the low amount of unsaturated fat that gives it such a great taste.
Bluefin Tuna – $3,500/pound
  • The price of tuna runs the market, up and down. It can range anywhere from $500 to $3,500 a pound depending on demand but rest assure, the Bluefin Tuna prices have gone up in value steadily since 2012 and continue to rise thanks to increasing demand across the seafood markets. Tokyo sets the market for Bluefin Tuna every year with sushi being one of the biggest food items it is used in.
Jamon Iberico – $2,800
  • Anyone can cook ham but it takes a certain specialist to cook an Albarragena Jamon Iberico de Bellota. This is ham that comes from pigs grown only for this exact meat. The pigs are fed acorns and roots only which ends up giving them a flavor unmatched by any other meats.

Avoid These Foods On A 1st Date

8 Foods A Woman Never Wants To See You Eat On A First Date

Wings/ribs
  • As you tenderly and sensuously remove meat from bones like a carnal metaphor, your face and shirt will probably also get covered in sweet, sweet juices. Exclusively eat ribs or wings with people who won’t care that your napkins are sopping up a barbecue murder scene.
Chili
  • Remember that iconic scene from Blazing Saddles where the cowboys are sitting around the campfire, eating beans and farting? Yeah, skip the chili.
Italian garlic bread, pastas with ample sauce
  • Aside from taking your date to unlimited soup and salad at the Olive Garden (please someone take me for the anecdote alone), you shouldn’t be hitting up an Italian place on your first rendezvous. Half the point of going to those places is overeating the garlic bread at the beginning and slurping down pasta with plenty of sauce. Don’t disrupt the sanctity with an orderly and polite meal that doesn’t end in a carb-laden food coma.

A Quick 9 Around The Island Green That Is 17

9 Numbers to Know About the Par-3 17th Island Green at TPC Sawgrass

12
  • The highest score ever recorded on the treacherous par-3 17th at TPC Sawgrass during the Players Championship. This unfortunate honor was awarded to Bob Tway in 2005. Tway, who was 7-under and four shots off the lead when he reached the 17th during his third round, dropped four balls into the water before he 3-putted for a 12. He was in 10th place before he played the hole. His third-round 80 steered him to a T56 finish.
6
  • Aces hit on the 17th hole during the Players. The list includes Brad Fabel (1986), Brian Claar (1991), Fred Couples (1997), Joey Sindelar (1999), Paul Azinger (2000) and Miguel Angel Jimenez (2002).
26
  • Yards, approximately, the green measures across. A peninsula on the back side of it is used as a walkway. There's one small pot bunker that sits in front of the green.

I Look Forward To Hitting A Bucket Here

12 Awesome Driving Ranges You Need to Hit (At)

6. TopGolf
  • Las Vegas, NV (opening 2016)

The atmosphere is lively, and the golf balls aren’t duds either. They’ve got built-in microchips that offer instant feedback on the distance and accuracy of every shot.
