Congestion is a growing problem in most major US cities, according to Inrix, a leading provider of real-time and predictive traffic data. The Seattle-based company released its annual traffic scorecard Tuesday, and found commuters in America waste more time stuck in traffic than anywhere else in the world. The average American commuter loses an average of nearly 50 hours a year atrophying in traffic, according to Inrix.
Depending on where you live, that number can vary greatly. Los Angeles commuters faced the worst conditions in the country, frittering away 81 hours per year in traffic. Washington D.C. and San Francisco drivers were next, losing an average of 75 hours.

The average price for a new car in these United States is now $32,086. The study looked at the median household income in the 25 largest metropolitan areas, and used a formula that assumed a 20 percent down payment, a loan of four years or less, and the overall cost, including insurance, coming out to no more than 10 percent of the gross income of the household.
Using these metrics, only median-income people from the Washington, D.C. area can buy a new car (with a monthly payment of $641), and you just know they’re probably going to buy something boring.

The hourly rate is after expenses in three major US markets: Denver, Detroit, and Houston.
Based on the calculations, Uber drivers made $13.17 per hour after expenses in Denver, CO, $8.77 per hour after expenses in Detroit, MI, and $10.75 per hour after expenses in Houston, TX late last year. These figures are less than anything Uber has previously released before.
Uber drivers, obviously, don't all make the same amount of money, due to differences in driver experience, location, dates of driving, and more. BuzzFeed News' data is based off a few assumptions: contractors drive a $16,000 car with a 250,000-mile lifetime, which results in a depreciation cost of 6.4 cents per mile, gas costs $1.75 per gallon with the vehicle getting 25 miles per gallon, which equals 7 cents per mile for gas, and lastly maintenance, insurance, and miscellaneous costs come out to $3,000 per year.

Ducati 1299 Panigale S Anniversario Edition celebrates 90 years
This year marks Ducati's 90th anniversary. To celebrate, the Italian motorcycle manufacturer created this special-edition 1299 Panigale S Anniversario. Based on one of Ducati's most potent motorcycles, the special edition is littered with a host of upgrades that make it more memorable. For starters, there's the red, white, and black livery that's accented by gold wheels, which is inspired by the manufacturer's racing team. Thanks to steering-head inserts that are machined from aluminum and a new top triple clamp, the S Anniversario has the same chassis geometry as the Panigale R.
The upgrades don't stop there. The special edition is also equipped with an Akrapovič titanium exhaust and billet aluminum mirror blockoff plates. Carbon fiber heel guards, shock-absorber cover, and rear mudguard help cut roughly six pounds off the bike's weight. The motorcycle will use a new version of Ducati's Traction Control system – dubbed DTC EVO - that allows riders to drift without crashing. Ducati has also fitted the bike with its extensive lineup of electronic aids, which include Bosch Cornering ABS, Ducati Electronic Suspension, Öhlins Smart EC, and Ducati Wheelie Control.
