This Project Car Has Serious Potential
For $7,000, Does This 2003 VW Jetta Wagon Make You Unic-Horny?
Here we have just such a wagon, a 2003 Jetta with a breathed upon 1.8-litre turbo four and a five-speed manual transmission.
So it’s an old Jetta wagon with a turbo and a stick, so what, right? Well, first off, please note that the car is being offered up on the VW Vortex forums, which means that it should be considered as a very serious Vee-Dub.
It comes with a bunch of expected engine enhancements, including an
AEM cold air intake, side-mount interooler and red top coil packs—ahh
the VW coilpacks—as well as new motor mounts, hoses, timing belt and
water pump. It also has a new starter and battery. Woot!

R.I.P. - Hasegawa - san
Hiroyuki Hasegawa, 1945 — 2016
Hiroyuki Hasegawa, co-founder and the “H” of renowned Japanese tuning house HKS, has passed away at the age of 71.
A former Yamaha engineer, Hasegawa founded HKS in October, 1973 in a small shed at the base of Mt Fuji in Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture. With a mission to develop an “original racing engine” for the Japanese aftermarket, HKS set out to create high-performance engine components beyond what automakers were willing to produce.

Audi's RS Program Has Finally 'Jumped The Shark'
Audi Will RS All The Cars
The German automaker plans to launch eight—eight!—more RS models by early 2018, reports Autocar, citing Audi’s Quattro head honcho and ex-Lamborghini boss Stephan Winkelmann.
Currently, there are seven RS Audis, including the RS 3, Q3 RS, TT RS, RS 6 and RS 7. Winkelmann wouldn’t say which other cars Audi would RS in the coming months, nor did he say which of them would come stateside. Autocar thinks that an R8 RS could be a possibility.
This is starting to smell a lot like Mercedes-AMG, where AMGing a model is now applied to even the near beer AMGs rather than just the most hardcore models. There are now so many AMG models that it’s very hard to keep track of them all.
