Notre Dame WR Corey Robinson ends career due to concussions
Notre Dame wide receiver Corey Robinson has decided to end his football career, he announced Wednesday.
The upcoming season would have been Robinson’s final year with the
Fighting Irish. The son of NBA Hall-of-Famer David Robinson, the wide
receiver cited concussions as the reason for cutting his football career
short.
“After much contemplation and prayer, I have decided not to continue
playing football due to multiple concussions,” Robinson said in a
statement. He went on to say he would help the team as an assistant
during his senior year on campus.
